Aishling is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She started her career as an emergency medical technician in her home volunteer fire department and rescue squad, which motivated her passion for health care and mental health specifically. Her work in the Emergency Department both then and later as a Registered Nurse is where she became passionate about addressing depression and anxiety, and specifically became motivated to prevent emergencies in mental health before they could occur by providing preventative and high-quality care. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has also worked in women’s telehealth, before transitioning to focus on mental health due to her passion for improving access to care for anxiety and depression. Through her different job roles, she has learned to communicate with and understand multiple cultural expectations and she has been praised for her ability to excel in working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, communities, and contexts.
