Inner Child Work

A person’s inner child is defined as their original or true self. The inner child is a form of strength as it represents our child-like capacity for innocence, wonder, awe, joy, sensitivity and playfulness. At the same time, it can also hold our accumulated childhood hurts, traumas, fears and angers. If these wounded parts of the inner-child are not addressed, they can continue to affect our daily lives. Find ways to tend to your inner child in the Inner Child Work resource.
