Chaena Hollist is a Master Social Worker with many years of experience in mental health, trauma recovery, healthcare management as well as personal growth and development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work as well as Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Whether through her experience as a case manager to clients with chronic medical and mental health conditions, as a crisis counselor in domestic violence shelters, or as a personal development coach and conference speaker, Chaena knows firsthand the benefits of having the right people on your team and the right tools in your toolbox when trying to build the life and relationships you desire and deserve. Through her use of effective, practical, and personable strategies such as behavioral activation, Socratic questioning, a solution-focused approach, and most of all empathetic listening, Chaena helps clients extract wisdom from their own wounds and acquire the tools they need to maintain their mental health and well-being. On a personal note, when she wants to insert some joy in her own life, Chaena likes to sing, learn to play old-school songs on her keyboard, or binge watch a good show with complex characters and an excellent plot.
