Shafi Lodhi, MD is a Resident Physician in Psychiatry. He graduated from the University of Missouri, where he received a BS in Biology, BA in Psychology, BA in History and Doctorate of Medicine. He was awarded the Early Career Investigator Award by the World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics for his research on the neurobiology of alcohol addiction and its intersection with disrupted sleep patterns. He serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of Psychiatry Residents' Journal and is a rotating co-chair of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry’s Bioethics Special Interest Group. He previously served on the American Medical Association's Medical Student Committee on Bioethics and Humanities. He has a special interest in Emergency Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, and Sports Psychiatry.
