Tempesst Merricks is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. She has worked with individuals of all ages across various settings, including the Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Departments. She is passionate about psychiatry as both a science and an art, using evidence-based psychopharmacology while also considering that one’s psychosocial background is vital to making holistic and individualized treatment recommendations. She is dedicated to reducing the stigma associated with mental health and improving access to mental health care. She enjoys traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants in her spare time.
